Adopt A Stream Foundation

Adopt A Stream Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Everett, Washington, founded in 1985 to teach people how to become stewards of their watersheds. It runs Streamkeeper Academy training events, produces environmental education materials distributed nationally and internationally, and provides stream and wetland restoration assistance to Pacific Northwest communities, including Snohomish and King counties. It also operates the Northwest Stream Center, a 20-plus-acre environmental learning facility with a nature trail and trout stream exhibit.
