Ag Land Trust

Ag Land Trust is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 1984 to protect farm and ranch land in Monterey County's Salinas Valley from urban sprawl. It holds over 110 conservation easement projects across Monterey, San Mateo, San Luis Obispo, and San Benito Counties, partnering with farming families and using conservation easements, cash grants, and tax planning strategies to preserve agricultural land.
