Alpine Lakes Protection Society

A Seattle-based conservation organization (ALPS) dedicated to preserving the Alpine Lakes region of Washington's central Cascade Range, directly east of Puget Sound, an area of dramatic peaks, wild rivers, forests, and over 600 high-elevation lakes. It works through issue advocacy, partnership coordination, and public education, and currently manages memberships and donations directly by email rather than online.
