Aquifer and Stream Restoration Trust restores natural water flow to springs, streams, and rivers in the Arizona desert. It does this primarily by installing loose rock structures (trincheras) and wire rock baskets (gabions) that slow surface water runoff, extending streamflow duration and increasing deep groundwater recharge.
