Archangel Ancient Tree Archive, based in Copemish, Michigan, locates, clones, and propagates the world's oldest and largest trees, including champion redwoods, giant sequoias, and the 5,000-year-old bristlecone pine Methuselah, to preserve their genetics. It plants these clones in restoration projects, including partnering with Arboretum Detroit and inner-city youth to grow giant sequoias in Detroit's Poletown East neighborhood.
