Association For The Protection Of Hammersley Eld And Totten Inlets

APHETI is a South Puget Sound, Washington nonprofit of roughly 3,000 residents along the shores of Hammersley, Eld, and Totten Inlets, organized to protect local water quality. The group has taken direct action under the Clean Water Act, including a notable citizen suit against a commercial mussel-harvesting operation over unpermitted discharges into Puget Sound.
