Avalonia Land Conservancy

Avalonia Land Conservancy preserves natural habitats in southeastern Connecticut by acquiring and protecting land and communicating the value of these resources. It has conserved over 7,500 acres and maintains public trails across preserves in eight towns (Bozrah, Montville, Griswold, Groton, Ledyard, North Stonington, Norwich, Preston, and Stonington), engaging the community through volunteering, membership, and stewardship and biodiversity-monitoring programs.
