Back Country Horsemen Of Colorado

Back Country Horsemen of Colorado (BCHCO) is the statewide umbrella organization for nine local Colorado chapters (including San Juan, Front Range, Rocky Mountain, and Mesa Verde) working to keep public lands open to recreational stock use. Members perform wilderness trail maintenance, crosscut saw certification, and educational programs, and partner with land management agencies under the trademarked "Light On The Land" principles.
