Back Country Horsemen Of New Mexico Zuni Mountain Chapter

The Zuni Mountain Chapter of Back Country Horsemen of New Mexico is an all-volunteer group incorporated in 2016, focused on the Cibola National Forest's Mount Taylor Ranger District and surrounding Zuni Mountains, drawing members from Gallup, Grants, Ramah, and Thoreau. The chapter does trail clearing and maintenance for equestrian and hiking use, including GPS-based "ground proofing" of proposed trails, and assists other volunteer groups with wilderness pack trips.
