Bay County Conservancy is a land trust dedicated to preserving environmentally sensitive land in Northwest Florida, and a member of the national Land Trust Alliance. Founded in 1998 to protect mid-city wetlands in Bay County, it has grown to own and manage dozens of preserves across the Panhandle, including the Audubon Nature Preserve in Panama City, acquiring land through purchase, donation, or conservation easements.
