Bergen Swamp Preservation Society is an educational land trust dedicated to conserving the flora and fauna of its Upstate New York properties, providing research and educational access to academic groups, and publishing scientific findings about its preserves. It manages five sanctuaries totaling about 3,350 acres, including the 2,000-acre Bergen Swamp (home to 36 native orchid species) and the National Natural Landmark Zurich Bog, and hosts free public trail access and school/college research visits.
