Big Bluestem Audubon Society

Big Bluestem Audubon Society is a local Audubon chapter serving central Iowa. Its mission is to enjoy and study birds, other wildlife, plants, and other facets of nature to build a deeper appreciation of the natural world and encourage others to do likewise. The chapter meets monthly for programs from September through May and sponsors at least one field trip per month, alongside a quarterly newsletter.
