The Big Dry Creek Watershed Association is a nonprofit based in Broomfield, Colorado, founded in 1997 by the City and County of Broomfield, Northglenn, and Westminster (with EPA support) after treated wastewater discharges into Big Dry Creek, and formally incorporated as a nonprofit in 2004. It works to build a sound scientific understanding of water quality, flow, aquatic life, and habitat in the watershed and to improve those conditions, through in-stream monitoring, a water quality database, and public education.
