Billion Oyster Project Inc

Billion Oyster Project restores oyster reef ecosystems in New York Harbor while engaging the public through hands-on environmental education, working toward what it calls a clean, abundant, and accessible harbor. It partners with over 100 NYC schools on STEM programming and has restored more than 150 million oysters, recycled roughly 3 million pounds of shell, and engaged around 30,000 students in the effort.
