The Bolton Land Trust is a volunteer-driven nonprofit that has worked since 2001 to help landowners in the Bolton area permanently preserve their land, whether for public enjoyment or to remain undisturbed. It has protected 333 acres across 14 parcels spanning wetlands, forests, and river corridors, funded through member donations and overseen by an all-volunteer 15-member board. The trust manages permanent conservation easements and stewards memorial structures on protected properties when donors fund maintenance endowments.
