California Tribal Gis

California Tribal GIS is a nonprofit that uses GIS (Geographic Information Systems) technology to help California Native American Tribes, both federally and non-federally recognized, protect cultural landscapes and manage natural resources, while building tribal GIS knowledge and capacity. It is the founding organization behind the California Native American Tribal GIS Summit, which brings together tribal representatives, GIS professionals, and partners for training and knowledge-sharing on geospatial technology in support of tribal sovereignty and environmental stewardship.
