California Urban Streams Alliance The Stream Team

The Stream Team (California Urban Streams Alliance) is a Chico, CA nonprofit, founded in 2011, whose mission is to gather environmental information needed to protect the ecological health of the Big Chico Creek watershed while engaging the local community in watershed stewardship. It runs a volunteer citizen-monitoring program that collects water quality data at multiple sites along Big Chico Creek to document long-term watershed trends and inform local resource management decisions.
