Canandaigua Lake Watershed Council

The Canandaigua Lake Watershed Council, formed in 1999 by 14 New York municipalities around Canandaigua Lake in the Finger Lakes region, is dedicated to restoring the lake's natural capital, ensuring its long-term protection, and enhancing resilience to future challenges. It takes an integrated watershed management approach covering research, protection, and restoration, helping safeguard the drinking water source for over 70,000 residents.
