Cape Coral Wildlife Trust, Inc.

Cape Coral Wildlife Trust acquires and permanently protects land in Cape Coral, Florida for the preservation of the city's indigenous wildlife, including burrowing owls and gopher tortoises. As of March 2026 it has secured 88 lots totaling nine acres, working alongside Cape Coral Friends of Wildlife (which handles fundraising, habitat maintenance, and community education) to safeguard habitat for over 350 native species amid the city's rapid growth.
