Caumsett Foundation Incorporated

The Caumsett Foundation is a "friends group" that supports and enhances Caumsett State Historic Park Preserve on Long Island's north shore in Lloyd Harbor, NY, through education, recreation, and historic and environmental preservation. Current initiatives include protecting a rare Baltimore Checkerspot Butterfly colony, restoring the landscape around the park's Welcome Center, and replanting trees damaged by Hurricane Ida.
