Center For Amazon Community Ecology

The Center for Amazon Community Ecology (doing business as Amazon Ecology) is based in Lemoyne, Pennsylvania, and partners with native and campesino communities in the northern Peruvian Amazon to develop and market fair-trade handicrafts, essential oils, and other value-added forest products. Its mission is to promote conservation and sustainable development of Amazon forest communities; as a Fair Trade Federation member, it pays artisans promptly and reinvests proceeds into local health, education, and conservation needs.
