Chavez Park Conservancy

A volunteer-run nonprofit dedicated to preserving and improving Cesar Chavez Park, Berkeley's roughly 90-acre municipal waterfront park. Founded by Martin Nicolaus, the Conservancy organizes volunteer stewardship days focused on native plant restoration and documents the park's wildlife, including its burrowing owl population, through hundreds of posts and videos.
