Cherokee Forest Voices Inc

Cherokee Forest Voices is a coalition, founded in the mid-1980s by Tennessee Sierra Club members and incorporated as a 501(c)(3) in 1999, working to protect and restore ecologically sensitive areas of the Cherokee National Forest in Tennessee. It monitors Forest Service activities and land-management decisions, promotes citizen participation in forest planning, and advocates for expanded wilderness protection, biodiversity restoration, and safeguarding of fish, wildlife, soil, and water resources.
