Chicago Bird Alliance
Chicago Bird Alliance (formerly Chicago Audubon Society, renamed in November 2023) connects people across Chicago-area communities with birds and nature through educational programming, field trips, advocacy, stewardship, and research. It runs conservation initiatives such as Montrose Piping Plover protection, Lights Out Chicago to reduce bird-building collisions, native plant gardening and habitat restoration, and free guided bird walks, and advocates for a mandatory bird-friendly building design ordinance through the Chicago Collisions Coalition.
