Clean Washington Waters

Clean Washington Waters (operating as Clean Lake Union) is a Seattle-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit, founded in 2012 and incorporated in 2018, that works to stop polluted stormwater runoff from reaching Lake Union and Lake Washington. It identifies catch basins and outfalls and finances installation of bioretention swales that filter runoff before it enters the water, partnering with local businesses, government, and groups like The Nature Conservancy and Salmon-Safe.
