Clean Water Project

The Clean Water Project is a 501(c)(3) founded in 2003 by conservation scientists and volunteers, working to restore and preserve the physical, chemical, and biological integrity of the nation's waters through stewardship, research, restoration, and monitoring. It partners with government agencies, corporations, universities, and other nonprofits, managing conservation easements, volunteer trash-collection efforts, and tree-planting initiatives. It operates out of Virginia (Vint Hill) and Florida.
