Coastal Expeditions Foundation

Coastal Expeditions Foundation is the nonprofit arm of Coastal Expeditions, working to "keep the Lowcountry wild" around Charleston/Mount Pleasant, South Carolina through habitat preservation, public access to nature, and immersive education. It funds loggerhead sea turtle nest protection in the Cape Romain National Wildlife Refuge (over 18,000 nests protected since 2018), supports seabird nesting islands, runs field trips for more than 100,000 students, and operates a Coastal Warriors paddling program for veterans.
