Connecticut Association Of Conservation & Inland Wetlands

The Connecticut Association of Conservation and Inland Wetlands Commissions (CACIWC), based in Middletown, CT, supports the state's volunteer Conservation and Inland Wetland Commissions through education and training so they can carry out their statutory environmental-protection duties. It publishes the quarterly magazine The Habitat, hosts an annual environmental conference, and provides guidance on reviewing development proposals, tracking invasive species, and other wetlands/natural-resource protection issues statewide.
