Conservation Congress

Conservation Congress is a grassroots nonprofit incorporated in California in 2004 that works to protect National Forest lands and native wildlife, including imperiled old-growth-dependent species like the Northern Spotted Owl, in northern California. It holds federal and state agencies accountable to environmental law by commenting on and administratively objecting to Forest Service timber sales and other projects, and pursues litigation when those objections fail.
