Coon Creek Community Watershed Council Inc

The Coon Creek Community Watershed Council is a farmer-led, community-led nonprofit in Coon Valley, Wisconsin, founded in 2021 after severe flooding in the Driftless Region and incorporated in 2022. It reduces flooding, improves water quality, and protects soil health through conservation practice cost-sharing, on-farm demonstrations, water-quality monitoring at stream sites, and prairie-strip planting to filter runoff and restore habitat.
