Coosa Riverkeeper

Coosa Riverkeeper is an Alabama-based citizen nonprofit, established in 2010, that works to protect, restore, and promote the Coosa River and its tributaries through on-the-water patrol monitoring, community pollution reporting, education, and advocacy. Its programs include swim and fish safety guides for the public, and current campaigns focus on PFAS contamination and wastewater treatment compliance.
