Council Of Western State Foresters

The Council of Western State Foresters (CWSF) is a nonpartisan membership organization of 17 western U.S. State Foresters and six U.S.-affiliated Pacific Island Foresters, headquartered in Edgewater, Colorado. It advances conservation, protection, and sustainable management of forests through collective action, outreach, and grant programs (including Wildland-Urban Interface and Community Wildfire Defense grants), with priority focus on forest health, water, and wildfire across western states and Pacific islands.
