Cypress Foundation is a 501(c)(3) land trust established in 2007 for long-term stewardship of restored streams and wetlands, originally focused on Kentucky and now holding conservation easements in Kentucky, Indiana, and Illinois. It develops and implements restoration plans for damaged sites, then manages and protects the restored land in perpetuity -- including gated access, perimeter posting, and remote camera surveillance to guard young forests against encroachment and invasive species during their most vulnerable early years.
