Dakota Tree Project

The Dakota Tree Project plants and maintains trees and community gardens in Albuquerque, focusing on high-heat, low-income neighborhoods to address disparities in urban tree canopy. Founded by Marc and Pamela Weese Powell in memory of Dakota William Powell, it also offers memorial tree dedications and conservation training.
