DuMond Conservancy for Primates & Tropical Forests is the nonprofit science and education affiliate of Monkey Jungle in Miami-Dade County, Florida, engaging scientists, students, and the public in the understanding and stewardship of nonhuman primates and their tropical forest habitats. It conducts primate ecology and biology research with academic partners, runs STEM programs for South Florida youth including those from disadvantaged backgrounds, and maintains a sanctuary for retired research primates, primarily owl monkeys formerly used in biomedical labs.
