Earth Island Institute Inc

Earth Island Institute is a Berkeley, California-based international environmental organization founded in 1982 by David Brower. It serves as a fiscal sponsor to more than 75 projects working on conservation, climate solutions, wildlife protection, Indigenous and women's environmental leadership, and environmental justice, and directly runs Earth Island Advocates (legal advocacy), the Brower Youth Awards/New Leaders Initiative (youth leadership programs), and the quarterly Earth Island Journal.
