Earth Riders

Earth Riders is a 501(c)(4) nonprofit based in the Tarzana/San Fernando Valley area of California working to shift the equestrian community's environmental footprint 'from polluter to protector of natural resources.' It provides education, onsite seminars, and a composting network to help horse owners and equestrian facilities properly collect and compost manure to prevent nutrient runoff into watersheds, and advocates for equestrian-specific (rather than cattle-focused) agricultural regulations.
