Earthart Institute

EarthArt Institute is a nonprofit educational, scientific, and charitable organization based in a remote rural mountain valley in Moffat, Colorado, founded in 1998. It leases land from the adjoining EarthArt Village cooperative and runs programs in sustainable community living, including family/community gardens, natural building, and off-grid energy training, along with arts and culture events like an annual studio tour and community music/dinner evenings. Its WEAVE (Women's EarthArt Village Enterprises) initiative pairs elder and young women artists in intergenerational mentorships aimed at cooperative income-earning opportunities.
