East Haddam Land Trust is a volunteer-run 501(c)(3) land conservation organization that has operated in East Haddam, Connecticut since 1979, preserving and protecting land in perpetuity for public benefit. It manages over 900 acres across 18 preserves with 20.5 miles of public hiking trails plus additional conservation easements, and runs guided hikes, paddling events, invasive-species and trail stewardship, and educational programs funded by memberships, grants, and volunteer support.
