Ecotat Trust operates Ecotat Gardens and Arboretum, a nonprofit 91-acre botanical garden and arboretum on Route 2 in Hermon, Maine, open to the public free of charge during daylight hours for tours, hikes, and cross-country skiing. The grounds hold over 55 gardens with more than 1,500 herbaceous species, 130 woody species, and 280 varieties of trees, plus a marsh ecosystem, preserved for public enjoyment and education.
