Environmental & Social Justice Associates, based in Lake Leelanau, Michigan, is a 501(c)(3) that brings professional experience in law, science, health care, communications, and community organizing to individuals, families, and frontline communities facing environmental and social justice challenges. It works directly with communities confronting threats such as heavy industry, mining, oil and gas development, pipelines, factory farms, and water pollution, engaging government, legal, academic, and nonprofit partners on their behalf.
