The Escondido Creek Conservancy protects and restores natural habitats across North San Diego County, California, and has protected over 7,000 acres of critical habitat from development since 1991, actively managing 3,500+ conservation acres. Its work spans land protection, water quality, habitat restoration, and environmental education, covering the Escondido Creek watershed from inland preserves in Bear Valley and Valley Center through Escondido, Hidden Meadows, San Marcos, and Elfin Forest, out to coastal communities like Encinitas, Rancho Santa Fe, and Solana Beach.
