Flash Forward Foundation is a 100%-volunteer, student-led nonprofit headquartered in the Bellevue, WA area that designs, builds, and distributes solar-powered flashlights to children in off-grid communities, primarily in Ghana as well as DR Congo, Nigeria, India, Haiti, and Bangladesh. The flashlights let students study safely after dark where electricity is unreliable, and the foundation partners with local organizations such as Malaika, COEC Nigeria, and Brighten Haiti to expand distribution.
