Friends of Kickapoo Creek (legally F.o.K.C., NFP) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Peoria, Illinois dedicated to protecting the Kickapoo Creek watershed. It organizes land- and water-based creek cleanups and floats, has removed over 12,000 lbs of trash and 200+ tires from the creek, conducts water quality monitoring, builds public access points, and runs community education and an annual Kickapoo Creek Festival.
