Friends Charleston National Parks

Friends of Charleston National Parks is a 501(c)(3) that supports the National Park Service sites around Charleston, SC — Fort Sumter, Fort Moultrie, the Charles Pinckney National Historic Site, Charleston Light, and Liberty Square — by funding preservation, education, and visitor programs. Its initiatives include the Kids to the Parks program, which has brought more than 5,000 underserved Charleston County students to Fort Sumter, plus programs like Artist in the Park and Jazz in the Fort. The group formed in September 2022 when the Fort Sumter–Fort Moultrie Historical Trust became Friends of Charleston National Parks.
