Friends Of Bass River Inc

Friends of Bass River is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to preserving and protecting the Bass River estuarine system between Yarmouth and Dennis on Cape Cod, Massachusetts. It addresses elevated nitrogen levels through water quality monitoring, restoring former cranberry bogs to wetlands, and collaborating with local, state, and federal partners on wastewater planning. The organization also runs education programs in local schools and a seasonal water testing program with Stonehill College's Ecology Department.
