Advocates for Herring Bay (AHB) is a nonpartisan, community-based 501(c)(3) environmental group in Anne Arundel County, Maryland, active since 2005, that pushes government officials to expand financial and regulatory incentives for conserving Herring Bay's forests, wetlands, and other green infrastructure and to strengthen management of land within Maryland's Critical Area. It also runs on-the-ground oyster restoration work, including planting spat-on-shell within the Herring Bay oyster sanctuary from 2019-2021 and a follow-up dive survey in 2022 to evaluate the planting site.
