Alabamas Mtns Rivers And Valleys Rsc Conservation And Dev Council
Alabama's Mountains, Rivers and Valleys RC&D Council is a volunteer-led nonprofit, founded in 1973, that has completed more than 500 community and conservation projects across eight North Alabama counties (Cullman, DeKalb, Jackson, Lawrence, Limestone, Madison, Marshall, and Morgan). It distributes over $300,000 annually in grants and programs and operates the WaterWorks Environmental Learning Lab, which teaches environmental stewardship, water treatment, and natural filtration.
