Alachua Audubon Society

Alachua Audubon Society is a National Audubon Society chapter based in Gainesville, FL, working to foster appreciation and knowledge of birds and other native wildlife and to protect and restore wildlife populations and habitats across Alachua County. It runs field trips and bird walks, educational programs, habitat projects such as kestrel and Purple Martin nest box programs, a bird-banding lab at Prairie Creek, and scholarships for students pursuing ornithology and wildlife conservation.
