Alaska Coastline Conservation

Alaska Coastline Conservation (ACC), founded in May 2024, is a nonprofit working to restore pristine Alaskan coastlines by removing accumulated trash and debris from beaches. Made up of local Alaskans, scientists, educators, and environmentalists, it plans to begin its first cleanup effort in the Wide Bay area in spring 2027, collecting waste and barging it to Seattle for recycling and disposal. The organization is based outside Anchorage in Sutton, Alaska.
